News & Features is a trusted source of entertaining and informative content for publishers and corporate clients around the world. This TMS division constantly adapts to meet the needs of the media marketplace by acquiring news sources and developing new talent for media and commercial customers.
News & Features operates seven product groups:
:. Domestic News & Features develops, manages and distributes columns, features, news services, puzzles and cartoons to newspapers and new media in the United States. This group is also responsible for sales and marketing of McClatchy-Tribune Information Services (a joint venture of Knight Ridder and Tribune), which provides text and images to print, online and broadcast clients.
:. International News & Features (TMS International) develops, manages and distributes popular features, wire services and magazine content to newspapers and other publishers internationally.
:. Wire Services (Knight Ridder/Tribune) distributes news, photos, graphics, animations, illustrations, caricatures and paginated pages from more than 250 news organizations to more than 1,000 print and electronic clients.
:. Reprint Rights Services (TMS Reprints) manages reprint rights for TMS, MCT, Los Angeles Times and other leading newspapers' content to non-newspaper publishers.
:. Digital Content Licensing (NewsCom) (a joint venture of Tribune Media Services and Knight Ridder), manages, sells and distributes digital content from 60 providers for media and commercial use.
:. Custom Publishing (On The Mark Media™) creates specialty publications, supplements and custom products for newspaper editorial and advertising departments.
:. Licensing manages the licensing rights to TMS-owned and represented characters and brands across a variety of product categories.
