Open Source Media Service Offers Richer Information, Innovative Model

Chicago, IL, June 06, 2005 — Tribune Media Services (TMS) and TechnoVera, Inc. announced an agreement to offer enhanced TV listings and movie showtimes to subscribers of TechnoVera's "LxMSuite." More information is available at www.lxmsuite.com.

The initial offering of the LxMSuite software is powered by the TMSDataDirect web service and includes access to TV listings, a user-friendly movie showtimes module, improved setup and new user-interface themes accessible only to LxMSuite subscribers. Planned LxMSuite enhancements include support of other digital media software solutions, a recommendations engine, and integration of additional content streams from TMS.

TechnoVera will develop enhancements during a six-month "pilot" project, during which it will return 100% of its profits to the development of open source code. TechnoVera is dedicated to the continued growth of open source media.

TMSDataDirect TV and movies products are standards-based, SOAP web services that allow companies to quickly integrate entertainment data into their applications.
