Responsibilities for this position include achieving revenue and profit goals in assigned territories by developing new business and managing and growing current accounts. Individual will close sales by prospecting and developing relationships, analyzing needs and opportunities, negotiating contract terms, documenting activity and following through on issues pertaining to the sale and delivery of services to customers. This individual will also negotiate contract extensions with current clients to protect against cancellation, and will be responsible to retain and grow current revenue through regular communication with customers. In addition, they will be required to maintain an effective working knowledge of industry trends in relevant markets and industries that could lead to new business opportunities and/or impact current products and remain up-to-date on competitive activities.

The requirements for this position include a proven track record of sales achievement, and/or extensive experience in the television listings industry with excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must. A technical aptitude and knowledge of the technology sector and new media industries would make this individual successful in their new role.

A four-year college degree is preferred or equivalent experience in a position in a related industry. Travel as required.

Requirements:

-Must be in possession of necessary documents to reside and work in the Netherlands

-Native Dutch speaker with excellent spoken/written English skills

-University graduates or equivalent professional experience preferred

-Good typing skills, windows proficiency preferred

-Able to work accurately under deadlines

-Willing to work outside regular business hours

-Sports enthusiast, a plus

-Training in journalism a plus
